Despite the copious amounts of cookies and pie and chocolate and complete lack of exercise for a week, I did not gain any weight over Christmas! Yay!
Now, the trick will be to get these last 10 pounds off over the next 12 weeks. I will have to make a ton of changes to do that. No more sugar fix on Monday mornings (the tasty pastries at work) and no more eating the candies on people's desks here at work. I will also have to stop eating out every weekend and start waking up early to do some resistance training before getting ready for work. I will probably also start taking walks at night and on the weekend.
You would think that running 3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes and then dance class twice a week would be enough exercise to loose weight *sigh* I hate my metabolism!!
I did get my ass out of bed early and did some upper body resistance fun stuff. So I am off to a good start! Let's see how long I can keep it up!
Running Update:
Last Tuesday and also Monday:
5 minutes at 5.3 mph
10 minutes at 6 mph
10 minutes at 5.8 mph
5 minutes at 5.5 mph
Total distance: 2.87
Average mile time: 10:27
Tuesday I had to stop briefly to tie my shoe, but I didn't stop at all yesterday. That was tough. The last 10 minutes were brutal!
Another half day at work today. Yay.
Christmas was good. My sister drove me nuts towards the end, but we didn't have any melt downs or fights. A first for us.
We basically spent most of the time playing Wii. Cow racing rules! *note to self, buy WiiPlay*
I got an iPod touch. Yay! It's name is Henry Foss. He's very adorable and high tech, just like his namesake. Sudoku is effing addicting! *shakes fist*
I also got "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog" featuring "Commentary! The Musical" I can't wait to listen to that.
Now I have to come up with a ton of money in the next couple weeks. Hooray for credit cards! I need to buy my ticket for AT4 (about $270) this Saturday. I have to buy my plane ticket to Vancouver (they just went up about $80 to about $400!) and I have to book the hotel in Vancouver and since I'll be going through hotels.com, I have to pay in advance, which will be another $175 or so. Blergh. I think these will all go onto the credit card that gets paid off each month and I'll worry about it on February 9th when the bill is due.
Ummm... I think that's about it.

Send me some of your willpower. I need to lose a bit of weight and can't seem to get off my butt to exersise.
P.S. This reply was typed out on Henry.
(although it is kinda dangerous due to the constant hysterical laughter!)
I really admire you for all your exersizestuff!
